Description: This is an original G&J.W. HANKSLEY, SHEFFIELD ,marked on the spout, it is in amazing shape, this is one of eight powder flasks, I bought from a collection in the past. All parts work excellently, G&J.W HAWKSLEY ,SHEFFIELD , were in business, from 1790-1830, so this was would have come from England in Revolutionary war era or the WAR OF 1812. I have left a very old binder twine on as it came with it.
