Description: *** Please use Shopping Trolley to get Shipping Discount *** 30 TARI COIN from MALTA, 1757. It is a large silver coin, 42mm diameter and about 2.5mm thick, weighs 29.2gm. The Arms on one side are the Crown Arms of the Grand Master of the Order of the Knights of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (Knights of Malta), Emmanuel Pinto. The other side depicts John the Baptist holding the banner of the Order and with the Lamb of God lying on the ground. The value is T.XXX which is 30 Tari. (I hope all the above is right) The coin has had a past conversion to a brooch and I fear the removed solder (can't tell if it was hard (silver solder) or soft (lead solder)) has damaged the coin otherwise the coin does not show a lot of wear or damage. Close-up photos of silver sometimes reflects the red auto-focus lamp. From the Collection of BobsMum&DadsBits.
