Before clothing had pockets made in their garments, women made waist pockets, see photos I made this picket from White quilted cross hatching, rescued from an antique/ vintage quilt, trimmed with a wine calico Cotton and backed with 100% white linen fabric. I hand crocheted three lengths of cotton embroidery floss and braided them together to make the tie, fits a 25” waist ….but many just hang on peg for decor ….. Pocket measures approximately 6” across the top X 10-1/4” long.
